The new Yale smart lock is shipping now! Famous for its range of smart locks, Yale just launched the new Real Living Assure Lock with Bluetooth.
With Real Living, there is no keyhole. Your phone is your key or you can use the keypad to enter an access code.
The Assure Lock can be mounted on your current deadbolt. It takes 4 AA batteries. If the battery is low, you can power-up a 9V battery at the bottom of the lock, allowing you to enter the access code. Likewise, if you don’t have your phone you can access the lock with an entry code.
On the Real Living Assure Lock, 12 keypad entry codes can be managed.
Yale Digital Keys App (compatible Android 4.3 or later and iOS7 or later) can manage an unlimited number of locks and keys, so you can control all your Yale locks in one app. The app lets you create digital keys for the people who have access to your place. You can get a message when someone comes in or out.
