Mi Band 2 will measure the number of steps (distance) and calories burnt. It will also track your heart rate and sleep. Like Mi Band, it will display the time and notify incoming calls or texts with vibrations. The tracker will be sold in different colors, and you will be able to change its rubber strap. It is only splash-water proof so you won’t be able to wear it when scuba diving.
The band’s new feature is its OLED screen (anti-fingerprint and scratch resistant) and a button that will allow you to switch between the screen’s display. Its battery will last up to 20 days.
The smartphone app, Mi Fit, is compatible iOS and Android.
Mi Band 2 is sold $23 in China. It is not available yet in the US.
